Uptown Redesigns - Custom Upcycled Leather Bags

Ordering & Payment:  Cash, Checks, and Visa/Martercard are all accepted forms of payment.  Visa and Mastercard transactions are handled over the phone. 

How to Purchase a Bag: Once you select the bag(s) you wish to purchase, send an email to uptownredesigns@gmail.com to place your order.  Specify the bag name, price, method of payment, your shipping address, and your phone number in your email request. Because each bag is individually handmade and completely unique, you will receive the exact bag photographed on the site.  Once a bag is purchased, it will be marked as "Sold" and will be removed from the site, or moved to the "Previous Designs" tab of the site for future reference.  Each bag is sold on a first come/first served basis.  If the bag you are interested in sells before you are able to purchase it, contact us to request a custom bag that resembles the same design (see the custom work section below).

Additional fees: Maryland Sales Tax and a flat standard shipping and handling fee of $12.00 will be additionally applied to the posted price of the bag.

Return Policy:  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days for a full credit.  Your funds will be credited back to you upon return receipt of the bag, provided that the merchandise is still in its original condition.  You will be responsible for any return shipping costs.  Please email us in advance if you intend to return your purchase. 

Custom Requests: If you have a leather coat ready for upcycling into a leather bag, contact Uptown Redesigns to make a custom order request.  In your email request, please include a photo of the original leather garment, and also specify the general type of bag you prefer (refer to a design that already exists on this site).  Uptown Redesigns will make all final design decisions, but will try to meet any special requests.  Once a custom order request is received, Uptown Redesigns will contact you to work out the final design details and to organize the logistics. Clients are responsible for all shipping costs for all custom projects, and may also be required to make a deposit.  Please allow 3 weeks production time for all custom projects.

Pricing Guidelines:  Twenty Five dollars ($25) is deducted from the total price of a custom order bag if the original leather garment is provided by the client.  For custom orders, Uptown Redesigns will assign a price based both the estimated time required to complete the bag and on a pre-existing bag's price.  The $25 credit will be deducted from this price (prior to tax, shipping, and handling fees).  Most typical custom jobs start at $200, and range from $200 - $275, but this will vary greatly depending on the condition of the leather and the details of the job.  Contact us for more details on your custom request.
